Scholars Program
Find Your Focus. Challenge Yourself. Make It Yours.
The Scholars Program offers a challenging academic experience with the flexibility to combine select Honors and AP coursework with other areas of interest.
Students may take Honors-level coursework in selected core subjects while building the rest of their schedule around their individual interests and goals.
BUILD YOUR OWN ADVANCED PATHWAY
Scholars students can pursue advanced coursework in:
English • Mathematics • Science • Social Studies
As students progress through high school, AP courses may replace Honors courses when applicable.
Bayonne High School does not place a cap on the number of AP courses students may take.

HOW TO JOIN
Placement in the Scholars Program is determined through multiple measures that consider a student’s overall academic readiness.
Scholars may take a combination of Honors and AP courses throughout high school.
