Fine & Performing Arts Conservatory
Create. Perform. Express Yourself.
The Fine & Performing Arts Conservatory gives students the opportunity to develop their talents through specialized four-year pathways, hands-on creative experiences, performances, productions, and artistic projects.
Students select a conservatory track based on their interests and build their skills throughout high school while completing BHS graduation requirements.
CHOOSE YOUR CONSERVATORY TRACK
Dance Conservatory
Train in performance, technique, choreography, and production through a four-year Dance Conservatory sequence.
Instrumental: Band Conservatory
Develop musicianship through a four-year Band Conservatory sequence while exploring additional opportunities in music performance, theory, and composition.
Instrumental: Guitar Conservatory
Develop performance and musicianship skills through a four-year Guitar Conservatory sequence.
Instrumental: Piano Conservatory
Build musicianship and performance skills through a four-year Piano Conservatory sequence.
Media Arts: Filmmaking Conservatory
Explore filmmaking, video production, editing, broadcasting, screenwriting, and digital media through a four-year Media Arts Conservatory sequence.
Musical Theater Conservatory
Develop skills in acting, singing, and dance through a four-year Musical Theater Conservatory sequence.
Theater Conservatory
Develop acting, performance, production, and stage skills through a four-year Theater Conservatory sequence.
Visual Arts Conservatory
Develop artistic technique and build a portfolio through a four-year Visual Arts Conservatory sequence.
Vocal Performance Conservatory
Develop vocal technique, musicianship, and performance skills through a four-year Vocal Conservatory sequence.
HOW TO JOIN
Students interested in the Fine & Performing Arts Conservatory must first complete the BHS application.
Applicants then participate in a program audition as part of the selection process. Audition requirements, dates, and scheduling information will be provided after the application is submitted.
