Business Education
Sharpen Your Skills. Step Into Your Professional Self.
The Business Education Program gives students the opportunity to explore specialized tracks in Business & Commerce, Finance, or Law. Being part of this program helps students develop career-focused skills through hands-on coursework and real-world experiences.
Students begin with an exploratory year in 9th grade and select a specialized track beginning in 10th grade.

Business & Commerce
Explore entrepreneurship, marketing, management, supply chain, logistics, and other areas that shape today's business world.
Students may explore courses such as:
Business Management & Entrepreneurship • Marketing • Real Estate Basics • Supply Chain, Logistics & Port Management • Web Design & Application
Finance
Learn how money works through banking, investing, accounting, economics, and financial decision-making.
Students may explore courses such as:
Accounting I • Accounting II • Business Management & Entrepreneurship • Economics • Stocks & Investments
Law
Explore the legal systems that shape business and society while studying areas such as criminal law, law enforcement, public policy, and policing.
Students may explore courses such as:
Business Law I • Business Law II • Criminal Law & Procedure • Introduction to Analysis of Public Policy • Introduction to Law & Justice • Introduction to Law Enforcement • Juvenile Delinquency • 21st Century Policing
HOW TO JOIN
Students interested in the Business Education program must first complete the BHS application.
Applicants then participate in a program interview as part of the selection process. Interview information and next steps will be provided after the application is submitted.
