The library is open 7:55am to 2:40pm. If you are coming to the library during a class period, you must have a pass from your teacher. Sometimes the library will be closed for class visits and programs. Schedule changes will be announced.

No. If your class has a substitute teacher, you must stay in the classroom. If you are unsure if your class has a sub, go to the nearest House office.

Yes. You can use one of the library’s desktop computers to print. 

Each computer is connected to the printer. All computers have links to the websites you need for school (Google products, Schoology, Clever). Unfortunately, you cannot print directly from your Chromebooks or devices.

There is only black and white printing; color printing is not available. 

You can come to the library to use the printer any time, as long as you have a pass from your teacher. You can also stop in at the beginning or end of your cafeteria period, without a pass. Just say you need to use the printer.

If you have questions about using the printer or the computers, ask for help!

No. Please don't shut down the computer. But do log out of your accounts before you leave.

No. But please be mindful that the printer is for everyone in school to use.

Bring your student ID to Mrs. Weinstein’s desk and she will assist you. If Mrs. Weinstein is not available, see Mr. Whitney. After your book is checked out, you are responsible for keeping the book in good condition so others can read and enjoy it, and returning it to the library by the due date.

You can keep the book for 14 days. If you need more time, ask Mrs. Weinstein for a renewal. Stop by the library, or send me an email. If you borrowed a book for your English class's Independent Reading assignment, you may borrow the book for the marking period.

There is a cart in the library where you can place books you are returning. You can also hand the book to Mrs. Weinstein, or another teacher in the library.

The Bayonne Public Library may also have the book.

Leave the book on the returns cart by the door, or on Mrs. Weinstein's desk.

There are no fines for returning books late.

Stuff happens. Talk to Mrs. Weinstein, and we will figure something out.

When you enter the library, there is a laptop and a scanner. Place your student ID under the scanner to scan in. If you don't have your student ID you can type in your student number on the laptop. Make sure to scan out when you leave the library.

You can work on school projects in the library during class period, as long as you have a pass from your teacher.

No. Please enjoy your snacks/lunch outside the library. You may bring in covered beverages. If something spills, let Ms. Weinstein, or any other teacher in the room, know. There are paper towels for cleanup.

Yes. Service hour opportunities will be announced.

No. The library is open to the whole school community.
